The Kiwanis Club is a longstanding community service organization that focuses on helping children, both locally and worldwide.


ACCEPTING DONATIONS

Rain or Shine! The Sixth “Necessities Drive” will be held on Saturday June 18 from 12 till 2:00pm at Beacon Unitarian Universalist Congregation 4230 Livernois Troy Mi. Call 248-318-9542 for further information.

The following non-profit organizations offer continuing assistance to those in need and are the recipients of items and donations collected during this event.

Included are, Neighborhood House, Troy People Concerned, Corner Shower and Laundry, Foster

Kids Closet and Lighthouse. The needs are great, here is a list of items requested

Neighborhood House, Troy People Concerned and Lighthouse:

● Rice, pasta, pasta sauce, tomato sauce, beef and chicken broth, all types of canned beans, canned soups, stews and chili, canned meat , chicken and tuna, powdered and condensed milk, canned fruit, Mac and Cheese, cereal, coffee, peanut butter and jelly Dish and laundry detergent. Toiletries, shampoo, soap, moisturizers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, disposable razors. Toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dish and laundry detergent

Foster Kids:

● diapers, new pajamas, socks and underwear

Corner Shower and Laundry housed in St Peters church in Detroit

● New men's under wear and work or athletic socks, toilet paper, toiletries (soap, shampoo, body lotion, toothpaste and tooth brushes, body lotion and deodorant, disposable razors. Free and clear laundry Detergent, bleach and disinfectants.

Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm

Every Wednesday in July, slide over to the Museum for some summer fun! You’ll find musical entertainment starting at 12 noon and water fun starts at 1pm with two huge slip and slides, a Rochester Hills Fire Truck, cool sprinklers for little kids, wading in Stoney Creek and water activities sponsored by the Clinton River Watershed Council. Rochester Public Library Book mobile will be on site, and you can learn more about Michigan’s animals and plants with the City of Rochester Hills Outdoor Engagement team.

07/19 Christmas in July Fundraiser

Christmas in July is Gifts for All Gods Children's only fundraiser of the year and your participation makes sure that thousands of children are touched by the love of Jesus through our organization. $0.93 of each dollar raised supports our programming from tutoring to summer bible camps to Christmas gifts and more.

The event will be held at the Packard Proving Grounds in Shelby Township on July 19th with a VIP reception starting at 6:00 pm and General Admission opening at 7:00 pm.
